Are PES courses accepted by the state(s) in which I am licensed? YES!!

PES courses are developed using national and state guidelines and in accordance with the statement of standards related to CPE issued by the AICPA and NASBA.

State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. PES CPE credit measurement is based on the AICPA guidelines of one credit for every 50 minutes.

PES has entered into program sponsor agreements with the following state boards of accountancy whom require specific state registration, and has been issued a sponsor ID number (see individual state page below) by those that provide one: DE, DC, HI, IL, IN, KY, NJ, NY, OH and TX.

The following states require self-study CPE to be earned only through NASBA QAS sponsors: FL, MN, MS, OR, SC and TN. PES is an approved NASBA QAS sponsor.

Many states do not issue formal program sponsor agreements. These states follow AICPA and/or NASBA guidelines. You can be certain our courses were designed to meet your state's requirements. CPE credits have been awarded in all 50 states including the above listed states and AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, GA, ID, IA, KS, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MS, MO, MT, NC, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, ND, OK, PA, PR, RI, SC, SD, UT, VT, WA, WV, and WY.
